Dae Song Lee is an Architect and installation artist currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Architecture at Yonsei University. Since he declared himself a new materialist, he has founded and runs a Design Systems Lab that conducts experiments and research on Material Systems and Computational Beings. He understands the form as an infinitely entangled relationship through repetition and difference, and based on this, he explores the realm of emergence through instrumentalized computer technology/techniques and diagramming methods. Recently, he has been immersed in research on smart phenomena arising from simple principles. His work has been published and exhibited in various places in Korea, North America, Central America, and Europe since 2004.
