DSL (Design Systems Lab | Design Script Language) was created for research and experimentation with generative design based on computational processes and digital fabrication. We are developing a new architectural design strategy by developing a material system that integrates various and versatile performances such as space, structure, and environment, which are the strategies of nature, and implementing, evaluating it through cutting-edge manufacturing technology. From the ontological declaration of new materialism, the phenomenon of emergence and the theoretical study to apply it to architecture and the study to reveal the meaning of the work are also conducted. The scope of research is diverse, from microscopic objects to furniture, from a single building to the district and city scale, and from architecture to products to the art installation, all forms and functions that can be realized with emergent possibilities are studied
